I've been neglecting this blog lately but if you've read my notes and A/Ns for Brand New Start or other stuff I've written, you know I haven't been in the mood to write a thing lately.
So, for your enjoyment, here are the pictures I have so far of the tattoos Jasper and Emmett have. :)
I'll upload more when I find them or something resembling to them.
Then the ambigrams, I myself have one on my forearm but since I know not all of you know what those look like, here's a good generator for you to try out.
Also, they have I think most of the mentioned ambigrams on the site there if you want to take a look at them, just browse the galleries from the menu on the left of the wowtattoo-site. :)
I shall be updating some of the music on the blog soon as well.

So, in two days I've had two aknowledgements for my fics.
Yesterday the When Love Was New-contest winners were announced. Well, I didn't win, which is no surprise, but I got a honorable mention from Dark Absynthe.
I was so ecstatic!
Not only that, but today, Naelany recommended Comfort In Pain in Twislash Unveiled!!
I mean...OMG! I'm so happy!
Also, as a status update, I'm writing the next chapter of Comfort In Pain AND the next chapter of Brand New Start. Edward is trying to get his voice heard and he has a lot to say.
I also have one bid in the Fandom Gives Back-auction. The EPOV for Brand New Start might take time to get published unless you want to bid on it... *wicked grin*

Chapter 2 and some sidenotes
Okay then. Chapter 2 was published yesterday and I know it's now full of...stuff.
So here are explanations for the said things, links for more information for both chapters.
Kentucky - Kentucky is known as the "Bluegrass State", a nickname based on the fact that native bluegrass is present in many of the pastures throughout the state, based on the fertile soil. It made possible the breeding of high-quality livestock, especially thoroughbred racing horses.
Eventing - Eventing is an equestrian event which comprises dressage, cross-country and show jumping. This event has its roots as a comprehensive cavalry test requiring mastery of several types of riding.
Horse whisperer - A horse whisperer is a horse trainer who adopts a sympathetic view of the motives, needs, and desires of the horse, based on natural horsemanship and modern equine psychology.
Horseback Riding Injuries and Safety Tips
Wikipedia list of horse accidents - (including historical figures who have died due to said accidents)
The Horse Whisperer - The Horse Whisperer is a 1998 movie directed by and starring Robert Redford, based on the 1995 novel of the same name by Nicholas Evans.
Clydesdale - The Clydesdale is a breed of draft horse derived from the farm horses of Clydesdale, Scotland, and named after that region.
Thoroughbred - The Thoroughbred is a horse breed best known for its use in horse racing. Although the word "thoroughbred" is sometimes used to refer to any breed of purebred horse, it technically refers only to the Thoroughbred breed. Thoroughbreds are considered a "hot-blooded" horse, known for their agility, speed and spirit.
Shire - Shires have held the world records for both largest overall horse and tallest horse at various times.
Anorexia - Anorexia nervosa is a psychiatric illness that describes an eating disorder characterized by extremely low body weight and body image distortion with an obsessive fear of gaining weight.
However, even though Edward might look 'anorexic' he does not have anorexia nervosa.
Instead, what I believe he has is
Major depressive disorder - Major depressive disorder (also known as clinical depression, major depression, unipolar depression, or unipolar disorder) is a mental disorder characterized by an all-encompassing low mood accompanied by low self-esteem, and loss of interest or pleasure in normally enjoyable activities.
