Chapter 2 and some sidenotes

Okay then. Chapter 2 was published yesterday and I know it's now full of...stuff.

So here are explanations for the said things, links for more information for both chapters.

Kentucky - Kentucky is known as the "Bluegrass State", a nickname based on the fact that native bluegrass is present in many of the pastures throughout the state, based on the fertile soil. It made possible the breeding of high-quality livestock, especially thoroughbred racing horses.
Eventing - Eventing is an equestrian event which comprises dressage, cross-country and show jumping. This event has its roots as a comprehensive cavalry test requiring mastery of several types of riding.


Horse whisperer - A horse whisperer is a horse trainer who adopts a sympathetic view of the motives, needs, and desires of the horse, based on natural horsemanship and modern equine psychology.

The Horse Whisperer - The Horse Whisperer is a 1998 movie directed by and starring Robert Redford, based on the 1995 novel of the same name by Nicholas Evans.

Clydesdale - The Clydesdale is a breed of draft horse derived from the farm horses of Clydesdale, Scotland, and named after that region.
Thoroughbred - The Thoroughbred is a horse breed best known for its use in horse racing. Although the word "thoroughbred" is sometimes used to refer to any breed of purebred horse, it technically refers only to the Thoroughbred breed. Thoroughbreds are considered a "hot-blooded" horse, known for their agility, speed and spirit.
Shire - Shires have held the world records for both largest overall horse and tallest horse at various times.

Anorexia - Anorexia nervosa is a psychiatric illness that describes an eating disorder characterized by extremely low body weight and body image distortion with an obsessive fear of gaining weight.

However, even though Edward might look 'anorexic' he does not have anorexia nervosa.
Instead, what I believe he has is
Major depressive disorder - Major depressive disorder (also known as clinical depression, major depression, unipolar depression, or unipolar disorder) is a mental disorder characterized by an all-encompassing low mood accompanied by low self-esteem, and loss of interest or pleasure in normally enjoyable activities.
